Community
Cormas is developed and maintained by an open and interdisciplinary community of researchers, developers, and practitioners working on participatory agent-based modelling and serious games.
There are several ways to connect with us depending on your needs.
General Contactโ
For institutional inquiries, partnerships, administrative matters, or general questions about the Cormas project, you can contact us at contact [at] cormas [dot] org
Development discussions are coordinated internally. If you are interested in contributing, please consult our guide on How to Contribute to Cormas.
Modelers Community Mailing Listโ
The Modelers mailing list is open to anyone interested in using Cormas for modelling, research, teaching, or serious games.
To subscribe: https://lists.cormas.org/wws/subscribe/modelers
This list is intended for:
- Discussions about modelling with Cormas
- Companion modelling and participatory simulation
- Research questions and methodological exchange
- Sharing experiences and use cases
When you join the mailing list, we kindly ask you to introduce yourself.
Please tell us:
- Your name and affiliation
- Your modelling background
- How you are currently using Cormas, or how you intend to use it
This helps us maintain a constructive and collaborative environment and allows other members to better understand your context.
Discord Serverโ
We also host a Discord server for real-time interaction.
The Discord server complements the mailing lists. It is designed for:
- Quick technical questions
- Informal discussion
- Community exchange
- Live collaboration and voice meetings
It is the most responsive place to ask short questions or start exploratory discussions. Longer or archival discussions are usually better suited for mailing lists.
